Hey guys! I started an online business 2 months ago. I have Facebook page, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest. I want to have a Tumblr account but I am not sure if it's worth it. I mean I joined four of these social media sites already, do I need to add more? Sorry, I just want to know my options. Can anyone share what they think about this? Thank you in advance!
OfflineI know what you mean. I asked the same question too after having Twitter and Facebook accounts. I mean, what's the use, right? But then I realized that limiting your business' social media reach is not a good idea. Now, I have Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, Tumblr, Scoopit (new), stumbleupon… and a lot more.
Hello all,
Hi Mattie! Creating social media accounts is the easiest part. Managing them is the challenge.
I agree with amber101 that limiting your business social media reach is really not a good idea. But of course, you have to make sure that you can still manage all of them. If you outsource these sort of duties to VA/PAs then you won't have a problem. If you're the only one managing and marketing them, and you have a job or other things to do, this may be a problem for you.
So for me, the more social media accounts, the better. Think about it. Would you be interested in spending more time with social media? if they are worth it (which they normally are – when done properly), then go right ahead. ;)
Best of luck. By the way, Tumblr is a great social network. Check out our free eBook about it here >> Tumblr = Twitter + WordPress Blogging!

Maria Canda
