Tumblr is a microblogging platform that reportedly has over 30 million users and is the first platform to host President Barak Obama’s blog.

People love Tumblr because it is an easy-to-use platform that allows users to exchange nearly any type of content such as images, texts, videos, links and audio tracks. It’s been considered as something in between Twitter and Wordpress, a great blogging platform with a focus on social media. It allows users to exchange information and discoveries with like-minded people. They can choose to “follow” certain people or pages that appear in their Dashboard, and “Reblog” it to their own Tumblr feed.
